Sharambeyan maintained warm and friendly relationships with many artists. Among those close to him were the painters Grigor Khanjyan, Sargis Muradyan, Henrik Siravyan, Minas Avetisyan, and many others. At the same time, he held the distinguished artists of the older generation, Martiros Saryan and Ara Sargsyan, in particularly high esteem. These creative and personal relationships were often reflected in portraits the artists made of one another.
